airstrike war game arcade

Airstrike is a 2d dogfight game in the tradition of the Intellivision and Amiga games 'Biplanes' and 'BIP'. It features a robust physics engine and several other extensions of the original games. It is currently 0-2 player only, but will hopefully have network play and some more advanced computer controlled enemies in the future. The graphics have been created using the Povray raytracer, and should be easy to extend and modify.

install from commandline (terminal)

~$ sudo apt-get install airstrike

install airstrike from .deb file, first download .deb file from here :
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/a/airstrike
two files must be download, save into folder.
airstrike_0.99+1.0pre6a-3ubuntu1_i386.deb
airstrike-common_0.99+1.0pre6a-4_all.deb

in folder .deb files. type in terminal

~$ sudo dpkg -i *.deb

How to play?
Open Applications -- Games -- Airstrike
- Press any key to start
- Press ESC button to display menu
- To setup key function, from Main Menu go to “Players Setup”
