How to install Opera Web Browser in Ubuntu and Plugins

First download the latest version of Opera from here to your desktop or your Home.

And then double-click on the file to install it or right click Open With GDebi Package Installer.

Next, install the flash plugin:
Open a Terminal by going to Applications > Accessories > Terminal and copy and paste this command:
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

now install java, so you can run any java application or see websites that use java to show their content. In a terminal type this code:
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-fonts sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin


Also install Ubuntu Restricted Extras to help support with Java runtime environment.
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras


Now, you can open Opera WebBrowser in Applications > Internet > Opera.
